Group psychotherapy in Kraków
Group psychotherapy means regular meetings of several people with a psychotherapist. You work on what is difficult for you in the presence of people who are going through something similar.
What happens in the group resembles what happens in your life — which is why a group is a place where you can really see and change the way you are with other people.
What you can come with
- feeling alone and misunderstood
- difficulties in relationships and in contact with people
- fear of being judged, shame, withdrawing
- low mood
- conflicts that keep repeating
- low self-worth
- the wish to understand yourself better in relationships
What it looks like
Joining. Before you join, we arrange an individual meeting. We talk about what you need and check whether working in a group is right for you at this moment.
Meetings. The group meets regularly, at a fixed time, at our practice at ul. Szlak 77. The dates and the price of the current group are given on the groups and workshops page.
Rules. The group is semi-open: it works with a steady membership, and a new person can join only when a place becomes free — after a consultation. Confidentiality applies: what the other participants say stays in the group. We discuss the rules at the beginning.
Who leads it. The group is led by a psychotherapist, who looks after everyone's safety and makes sure each person has their place.

Group psychotherapy — frequently asked questions
Can’t find an answer? Call us — we are happy to talk.
Do I have to talk about myself in front of strangers?
You say as much as you want, when you are ready. Listening is work too — many people start exactly that way.
Does a group replace individual therapy?
They are two different forms of work. Sometimes a group alone is enough, sometimes it is good to combine it with individual therapy. We decide that at the preliminary meeting.
How much does it cost to take part?
The price is given with each specific group and is lower than the cost of individual sessions. All prices are in the price list.
Do the participants know each other?
We do not accept people who are close to each other in everyday life into the same group. If you know someone, tell us before joining.
When does the next group start?
New groups start regularly. Current dates are in the Groups and workshops section, and if nothing is open right now — call us and we will let you know about the next intake.
Why a group helps
In a group you get something a one-to-one conversation cannot give: the experience that you are not alone in this. You hear how other people live through similar difficulties, and you see yourself through their eyes — you get feedback that can be hard, but is very valuable.
A group is also a place to practise. You can try saying something directly, disagreeing, asking for attention — in conditions where someone is looking after safety. Changes that begin in the group later carry over into relationships outside it.
Who it is for
For adults who are ready to meet regularly and to keep working even when things become uncomfortable. A group can be particularly helpful with anxiety, low mood, difficulties in relationships and low self-esteem.
It is not a good solution in an acute crisis — then we start with a consultation and individual therapy. We will talk about what would be best at the preliminary meeting: 662 888 417.
